Salut from New York!

First of all, I have to say; your letters of support continue to make my heart soar. You are all wonderful and beautiful and make what I do worth doing.

Next! There have been a lot of e-mails and messages coming in concerning the Twilight adaptation being filmed. Unfortunately, lovely readers, I was not cast as Bella Swan, and I will not be playing her. I honestly don’t even know how the rumour got started—I was never even brought in for an audition on it! So no, friends, I will not be Miss Swan. I do, however, have a friend in the cast, and as is such, I can tell you that it’ll be amazing. Jerry’s a great actor and wouldn’t get involved in a project that wasn’t as awesome as he is! So be sure to go see that one, guys, it’s going to be great, even sans me. Also, in the vein of ‘debunking’ things, I do have to say that the press likes to make things a little bit blown out of proportion. Any relationship I may have with Seth Maclane is nowhere near buying rings and hearing wedding bells.

Now, onto the good stuff!

Charlie’s Angels is going to be filming in a few short months, and I’m very excited to get started. I’ve had a lot of people interested in what my character is going to be like, or if she’s modeled after any of the original angels. I’m going to be playing Alex, who is the angel that is very tech-savvy. She’s great with computers, explosives, and just about anything that has to do with modern age technology. She was also a bit of a daddy’s girl growing up, and is pretty prone to doing everything ‘right.’ Unfortunately, Alex can’t cook or bake to save her life—and has a very difficult time covering her tracks when it comes to her boyfriend. All of the characters are very fresh, fun and original; and I think everyone is going to have a favourite. Sort of like the Spice Girls.

So I hope that gives some insight.

I’ve also had a lot of questions as to my character in Push… but I can’t give anything away! Let’s just say that there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Alyssa English. I could not be more excited to see that finished product. I think all the sci-fi fans out there are going to love it! However… I do have a special treat for you. Here’s the trailer.
